About this year’s events:
Be the first to see ALL NEW displays at the 2024 Prairie Lights as you run, jog, walk or stroll through the lighted park. November 23 will be a timed race dedicated for runners, and joggers. November 24 is set aside for those who want to walk and stroll through the lights. Registration is limited each night.
Proceeds from this event benefit all ages that utilize Parks, Arts and Recreation department programs and classes; by providing scholarships to cover program fees for those in need. We thank you for your participation, but more importantly our customers that benefit from this program thank you!

Packet Pickup:
Day #1: Wednesday, November 20 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Day #2: Thursday, November 21 from 11:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Day #3: Friday, November 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Race Day Information:
Gates open – 5:00 p.m.
Gates close – 6:00 p.m.
Race begins – 6:30 p.m.
- Packet pick-up will be offered the day of. Please allow time for this process and arrive as early as possible.
- Concessions will be available for purchase.
- Dogs are allowed, but must remain on a leash at all times an will not be permitted inside Prairie Lights Holiday Village tent.

Awards:
- Awards are only held on the timed 5K race day – Saturday, November 23.
- Awards will be given to the following age groups – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
- 0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Goody Bags:
All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt!
