About this year’s events:
Be the first to see the displays at the 2026 Prairie Lights as you run, jog, walk, or stroll through the lighted park. November 21 will be a timed race dedicated to runners and joggers. November 22 is set aside for those who want to walk and stroll through the lights. Registration is limited each night.
Proceeds from this event benefit all ages who utilize Parks, Arts and Recreation department programs and classes by providing scholarships to cover program fees for those in need. We thank you for your participation, but more importantly, our customers who benefit from this program thank you!

$35 Early Registration (July 27-September 30)
$40 Registration (October 1- October 17)
$45 Late Registration (October 18- November 11)
ALL participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt with their registration
Packet Pickup:
Day #1: Wednesday, November 18 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Day #2: Thursday, November 19 from 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Day #3: Friday, November 20 from 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Race Day Information:
Gates open – 4:30 p.m.
Gates close – 5:30 p.m.
Race begins – 6:00 p.m.
- Packet pick-up will be offered the day of. Please allow time for this process and arrive as early as possible.
- Concessions will be available for purchase.
- Dogs are allowed, but must remain on a leash at all times and will not be permitted inside the Prairie Lights Holiday Village tent.

Awards:
- Awards are only held on the timed 5K race day – Saturday, November 22.
- Awards will be given to the following age groups – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
- 0-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Goody Bags:
All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt!
